June 19, 2010: Chef Paula cooked beer-can chicken on the Bar-B-Q at Gilbert Lodge.  This chicken was rubbed with her secret spices before it was put on top of a 3/4-full beer can, then slow-cooked over an hour.

At the table on the Promenade Deck at Gilbert Lodge, the chicken and other fixings looked and tasted great.

Finally, it was out on the Minnow for a look around Gilbert Lake.  Paula was keeping watch while Mark piloted the mighty vessel.

Water skiers were out too on this 70 degree evening.  There is a professional water skier who lives on the lake and practices regularly.

With sunset not too far off, the moon was shining down from the south sky as a float plane flew over.
