         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons

June 1, 2010:  The Paddle Pushers Kayak Club showed up on Gilbert Lake.  There were twelve.  Only eleven made it to this photo because there was one straggler.  It looked like rain was coming, but only a few drops fell.  Not a bad night.

They recognized Gilbert Lodge and paddled over.

A turtle joined in the fun going down near the lake.  This one was about seven inches across the shell.  It may be the same one that laid eggs at the lodge six days ago.

An hour or so later, the sun set over Gilbert Lake. 

The Minnow waits for another day to venture out.
