May 26, 2010:  With warm temperatures, Paula was planting flowers on the grounds of Gilbert Lodge.  Her job is never done.

Along the way, she discovered a turtle laying eggs on the estate.  Stay tuned, we may have a birth announcement one of these days!

Later, Paula put her feet up to ride the Minnow across Gilbert Lake.

Loons are seen here on a regular basis.

The lake water was calm on the southwest side of the lake and reflected the shoreline as well as the sky fairly well.

Some fishermen were out trying their luck by boat.

Others used the dock at the public landing.

Still more were found near the middle of the lake.

Gilbert is 369 Acres in size with 7.8 Miles of shoreline.  The maximum depth is 45 feet.  Fishermen find Northern Pike, Blue Gill, and Crappie.

As the sun was setting, the Minnow was back in port awaiting another day on the water with the Skipper and Gilligan.
