         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons

October 1, 2009:  Gilbert Lodge Master Mechanic, Mark Persons, was replacing a fuel line on the Minnow when he dropped a socket wrench into the drink.  Paula "Deep Diver" Persons was called to go down to retrieve the tool.  She is a SCUBA diver and was photographed in the process.

Earlier in the summer, the fuel line had been eaten through by muskrat. Details 

Curious lake residents gathered to see what was going on.

Even more came by to join in the fun.

After the repair and out on the lake, the sun was going down in the west.

The moon showed up in the southern sky just after sunset.  Moonlight reflected on lake waves as the Minnow was heading back to port.
