May 14, 2004 Our 'Name the Pontoon Boat" contest has ended. The winner is, the "Minnesota Mighty Minnow." Just think of 3M, or just call it "The Minnow" just like on Gilligan's Island. Paula "Gilligan" Persons is christening the Minnow with a bottle of Minnesota Wild Honeywine. In the background are Jim Barry, Kurt Hanson, and Mark "The Skipper" Persons. May 14, 2004 The Mighty Minnow boat is a 20 foot Misty Harbor with a 40 horse Mercury 4-stroke engine. We purchased the boat and motor from Brainerd Sports and Marine. Paula "Gilligan" Persons is obviously having a wonderful time piloting the Minnow around Gilbert Lake. Kurt looks on with wonder. (Click on the photo or here for a larger view.) |
