Wednesday, December 25, 2024: Christmas Day.
Chef Paula whipped up her famous Puffy Pancakes. They rise up from a fry pan and taste great.
She was talked into sharing her her secret recipe on this blog.

The Ingredients are:

Large Eggs

1 cup

Whole Milk

1 cup

All purpose flour

2 tablespoon

Granulated sugar

¼ teaspoon

Salt

2 tablespoons

Margarine or butter

Directions:

1.   Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

2.   Prepare pancake:  Place 10-inch skillet and heat until very hot.  
In blender at medium speed, combine eggs, milk, four, sugar and salt until smooth.

3.  Remove skillet from oven; add margarine and swirl until melted.  
Pour batter into hot skillet; bake 15 minutes or until puffy and golden.



Breakfast was served with Arco Norseman Grog Coffee, sweatened by Coffee mate.
Thick cut bacon complimented the Puffy Pancake with maple syrup perfectly.
It was a Gilbert Lodge breakfast that guests ask for time and again.
