The Old Wadena Society puts on the annual Old Wadena Rendezvous and Chautauqua. It is in a historic location about 13 miles north of Staples, Minnesota. |

Lots of exhibits to see. |

They even taught music. |

Plenty for he kids, including face painting and learning to pump water. |
  |

Storytelling was a real hit with the kids. |
  |
|
Then the dinner bell/triangle rang. The specialty of the day was chicken
in fry bread. |

Folk music. |

The way it was one-hundred years ago. |

A leathersmith was there to make items the old way. |
  |

Paula couldn't resist learning about pit-fired pottery. |

|
All good things must come to an end. The horses knew the way back to the
car. |
