Friday,
January 6, 2023:
Mark
and Paula headed up the rugged north shore of Lake Superior. |

|
Highway
61 is cut into rock as it heads north.
|
 |
|
Water
comes out of the rocks forming ice falls.
|
 |
|
Then the moon showed up on the
horizon.
|
 |
|
They pulled into Grand Marais.
To Mark it looks like the
TV series Northern Exposure.
|
 |
|
The sun ws just setting over
the harbor at Grand Marais.
|
 |
|
It's golden rays lit up
windows in town.
|
 |
|
The lighthouse was there in
the dying light of the day.
|
 |
|
The
moon's brightness shown over the water after sunset.
|
