Mark and Paula visted the North American Bear Center at Ely, Minnesota. |

Many life-like displays. |
 Then a tour of the live bear pens. |

Bears love peanuts, as seen here, but
this is as close to the bears as Mark and Paula dared get. |
 Then hiker Paula decided to go out in the woods again, homefully not running into a bear!  Paula, when you come to a fork in the road, go that way!  These folks were looking at something, what was it?   It was a watefall, which was calming to look at.  |

Then Paula discovered two mushrooms. |

| Mark was surprised by a tree that grew over a rock. |
