Mark and Paula took a ferry boat to
Madeline
Island on Lake Superior. |

The captain was a fearless man, even
in cool weather on
Lake Gitche Gumme. |

Waves were crashing over the the bow of the boat. |

Then the passengers disembarked at the
island, including this happy couple! |

Rock Hunter Paula spent time looking
for interesting rocks along the shore. |

The water whipped up a bit. |

The
Madeline Island Museum was a real tourist attraction. |

Then there was this decorated car. |

Mark and Paula overnighted at the
Hotel
Chequamagon overlooking the penninsula leading to Madeline Island. |
