Monday, November 19, 2018:
Deep Diver Paula
and her friend Scuba Leslie met at the
Great Lakes Aquarium
in Duluth, MN. They were volunteers preparing fish food for fish before SCUBA diving in two of the tanks. |
They were heading into a tank when they found they needed even more
weights to obtain neutral buoyancy. The interesting fact is that they need more weights in salt water here rather than the fresh water they are accustomed to. |
Here is just a part of a group watching the divers and learning. |
There was more to see including a small alligator and a waterfall. |
Young and old alike found this interesting. |
Then it was time to clean the tanks. Another job of the volunteers. |
Paula and Leslie came out of the tank cold and wet, but happy for the dive experience. They're planning on doing this again. |
Quote of the day: Lots to learn at the aquarium. Mark | < Back to previous story | Ahead to next story > |
