Mark and Paula Persons headed to the Public Garden at Boston Commons. Bronze statues of a mother duck and her ducklings were on parade. |

There is a memorial to firemen who lost their lives in the line of duty. |

Mark and Paula went to the top of the 52 floor/749 foot
Prudential Tower to see Boston from above. The sights on that day were very good. |

Sail boats were out racing on the Charles River. |

Fenway Park, where the Red Sox play baseball,
was visible from there too. |

Then Paula decided to find the Boston Public Library. Hmmm...where is it?
She studied a map and decided public transportation was a good way to get there. |

The library is a huge place used by a lot of people. |

The murals are beautifully done. |

Then it was time to see the old part of town. |

The Bell in Hand Tavern,
America's oldest tavern, goes back to 1795. |

There were even horse carriages for those who wanted to ride instead of walk. |
