Monday, June 4, 2018:
Mark and Paula
toured the
Tower of London.
Billed as Her Majesty's Royal Palace, it is huge. It is also known as the Fortress Palace. |
Red seems to be a
popular color for the British. |
A model gave a better perspective of the complexity
and size. |
This place
dates back to the 1600s. Lots of visitors. There is a
waiting line to get in first thing in the morning. |
With lions on the loose, Paula decided to don some armor for protection. |
Tours are often
given to students to teach history. After all, history is prolog
to our future. |
There is a huge collection of armor for people and horses. |
The
crossbow was a lethal weapon hundreds of years ago. |
The king's bed
chamber. |
Lots of song and ceremony as it might have been done hundreds of years ago. |
Quote of the day: They lived a different life style. Mark | < Back to previous story | Ahead to next story > |
