Tuesday, March 5, 2018: Rough weather moved into the Northland with high winds and snow.
There was a Winter Storm warning so few were out.

Snowplows were out earning their keep.

About seven inches of snow needed to be cleaned up by day's end.

It was poor visibility for some drivers when snowplows went by.

The bird feeder at Gilbert Lodge was providing food and was sheltering some birds for a while.

Then it happened, more snow fell that night.

The morning brought a vision of trees loaded with snow.

It surrounded pine needles to stay on tree branches.  In all, twelve inches of snow fell over two days.

Quote of the day:    I am praying for spring.  Mark    < Back to previous story Ahead to next story >
