Tuesday, March 5, 2018:
Rough weather moved into the Northland with high
winds and snow. There was a Winter Storm warning so few were out. |
Snowplows were out earning their keep. |
About seven inches of snow needed to be cleaned up by day's end. |
It was poor visibility for some drivers when snowplows went by. |
The bird feeder at Gilbert Lodge was providing food and was sheltering some
birds for a while. |
Then it happened, more snow fell that night. |
The morning brought a vision of trees loaded with snow. |
It surrounded pine needles to stay on tree branches. In all, twelve inches of snow fell over two days. |
Quote of the day: I am praying for spring. Mark | < Back to previous story | Ahead to next story > |
