Ground Hog
Day. When will winter end?? Since there are no Ground Hogs in Minnesota, the management at Gilbert Lodge relied on a local expert. Nipper the dog was the stand-in. He swore on a stack of broadcasting books that his analysis and testimony were correct. Nipper saw his shadow this day because of clear winter weather. Soooooo there will be six more weeks of winter. Darn! |

Bill's Gun Shop & Range
in Brainerd to pop-off a few rounds. Yes, that's a man-like target. She meant business. |
