Sunday, January 7, 2018:
Mark and Paula headed for a walk at Rotary Park in Brainerd. This area is mostly undeveloped and has been under a year-long cleanup program up by members of Brainerd Rotary. The area is on the east side of the Mississippi river, south of the Brainerd High School. The Mississippi River is in the background of this photo. |

There
are walking trails, but Paula decided to cross a frozen stream to access parts
that she can't get to in summer. |

She
headed up a stream. Good exercise too. |

Not easy
going, but she was remained undeterred. |

Farther
and farther she went before disappearing entirely. |
 |
|
Paula
finally returned with snow on her scarf to tell tales of places most people
haven't been to and won't go to. Rotary Park is for hiking in nature and is a work in progress. |
