Saturday,
August 5, 2017:
Paula and Mark were in St. Ignace, MI, and stopped at a local
spot for breakfast. |

Yes, it
is a favorite 1950's type place for locals and tourists alike. |
![]() |
What's on the menu? Well, you can order a pasty for
breakfast. It is a meat pie that was a favorite of miners in years past. |

Paula went SCUBA diving in the cold waters of the Great Lakes while Mark went for ferry boat ride.

Hydro-jet
driven boats throw up a huge water plume. |
![]() |
This day the ferry was going under the Mackinac Bridge. |
![]() |
Everyone wanted to be aboard and many had cameras. |
![]() |
A rainbow appeared after leaving the bridge. A
fitting tribute to the Great Lakes. |

Then the boat was off with another boat in its
wake. But, to where? |
