2017: Easter Sunday. |

The choir at the
Park United
Methodist Church was joined by members of the congregation and Pastor Justin
(upper right) for the Hallelujah Chorus at the end of the service. Very
inspiring as it filled the church with song. |
 |
|
Then it was off to
Ruttger's Bay Lake Lodge for
Easter Sunday dinner. Their warm fireplace set the tone for dining. |
 |
|
Jim Olson was there providing music. It gave a very
welcome feeling to the day. |
 |
|
Paula and Mark dined with Dave and Jean Schaeffer that day.
Good dinner table conversation. Dave is a retired airline pilot. |
 |
|
Then it was off to Mille Lacs lake to see ice that remained
from just days before when wind blew it ashore. Mille Lacs now ice-free. |
 |
|
Dave found this piece of ice to show off. Dave still had
a toothpick in his mouth from dinner. Note the tilted pole in the background that had been pushed by ice in the previous year. |
