2017: This "OBIE I" car as spotted at the Westgate Mall in Brainerd.
Hmmmm...It must be an official Star Wars Transport Vehicle. Ob-Wan Kenobi must be nearby. |

Other license plates were spotted nearby too. There was even one
with "CRUZN JO." Yes, people's imaginations often run wild when it comes to cars. |

Then it was off to Rotary Park, just a quarter mile down the
Mississippi River from
Kiwanis Park in Brainerd. A bit of ice was melting from a tree branch in the warmth of the sun. |

|
The park is undeveloped land that was donated to the City of
Brainerd with the help of the
Brainerd Rotary Club. Rotarians have been cleaning up fallen trees so that the park will be a destination for those walking outdoors. The Mississippi river is just off to the right in this photo. Soon its waters will be in the foreground as well. |

Snow was melting fast at the
Northland Arboretum
in Brainerd the next day. |

| Bikers were out even when the temperature was in the mid-30s. These were on the Paul Bunyan Trail, which was a railroad years ago. |
