Thursday, February 2, 2017:  Ground Hog Day.  Only 1 degree above zero and sunny. 
It was reported that a Ground Hog in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, saw his shadow.
 
Nipper, the RCA dog from Gilbert Lodge, rushed to a window to confirm the news. 
Sure enough, big shadows which forecast six more weeks of winter.  Ouch!
