Friday, December
2,
2016: Mark and Paula headed to St. Paul/Minneapolis. They dropped in at Ingebretsen's on Lake Street where decorating for Christmas was in progress. |
Paula loves this 95 year old Scandinavian shop. There is
even an Ingebretsen's in Stockholm, Sweden, much like this one. |
Included in the store is a butcher shop for Scandinavian
specialties including Lutefisk. |
Then it was off to the Midtown Global Market at 920 East Lake
Street in Minneapolis. Many dozens of shops are frequented by hundreds of people daily. |
Paula loves this statue. |
There is even a Brow Art shop where you can have your eyebrows
enhanced. |
Paula picked up some Earth Crayons. They are in the
shape of objects we know, like farm roosters and tractors. Great for kids. |
She eyed the pastry. No comment on whether or not she
bought some. Some knowledge best kept secret. |
Quote of the day: Every Christmas shopping experience usually includes food. Mark | < Back to previous story | Ahead to next story > |
