Mark and Paula pulled into Red Wing, Minnesota. It is a river transportation and a
manufacturing town.
The Duo stopped at the Red Wing shoe store and factory. Shoes for Paul Bunyan
must be made there too.

Lots of colorful artwork on building sides.

River barges are frequently seen there.

Grain trucks pull in from Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa farms
to have their cargo transferred to river barges.

Ah, there she is, the queen of the city. It is the
St. James Hotel
that has been around since 1875.

There is a friendly staff at the front desk to make sure every
guest has a good stay.

The restaurant is one great place with photos of riverboats
from times gone by.

They even have dinner music compliments of a piano player.
