Many hundreds of people showed up to walk the docks. |

They wanted to see boats of all types on the water.

Maliciously restored wood boats ere a big
attraction. |

This one was from the 1960s. |

| There was enthusiasm from
young and old alike. |

the early 1900s. |

the 1960s. |

| Then there was the
Amphicar from 1961. It could drive down the road at 70
miles per hour, then into the water to cruise at 7 knots.
A real novelty at the time, but it didn't catch on.
