Monday, July 22, 2016: Gardner/Chef
Paula was out at her straw-bale garden picking fresh lettuce.
The bowl was very festive too. She has carrots, tomatoes,
and spices planted there as well. |
|
Here she is
seasoning Pacific Salmon on the grill. Chef Paula would
not reveal the secret ingredient in the yellow container.
An investigative reporter from this Blog discovered it is Old
Bay Seasoning, used on seafood, poultry, meats, and even
salads.
This time-tested spice has been enhancing good food for over 60
years now.

The garden lettuce in a salad
was a real treat that evening.

|
The salmon looked
great with broccoli along with a mix of white and wild rice.
|
|
A dessert of ice
cream with raspberries and chocolate syrup was just right to end
the day.
