Scandinavian turned out for the
Nisswa-Stamman Music
Festival. It is an annual event that attracts many hundreds of people.

Musicians gathered to talk
about their lives and
Nordic music from Sweden and nearby places.

The Stoney Brook group was practicing before the parade.

Then it was off to fill the
town with music.

They played well
in a happy spirit.

Even young ones were a part of
the parade.

Then musicians entertained at
a stage.

Spectators took the
opportunity to get up and dance.

They played simultaneously all day.

people really got into the music.....and you thought it was just
for oldsters!
