         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Sunday afternoon, April 3, 2016: 

Trap and skeet shooters were out at the Lakeshore Rod and Gun Club, just west of Gull Lake.
This competition was with high school students shooting moving clay "pigeon" targets.
 
Brainerd Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 255 is one of the major sponsors of the activity.
 
There were a fair number of hits causing clay to scatter everywhere.
 
Plenty of spent shotgun shells on the ground.
 		 Then it was time to reload the clay pigeon launcher.
 
More shooting.  It was individual and team competition.
 
They learned gun handling and gun safety. 
At the end of the day, it was time to compare scores and plan for the next gathering.
