Fighters on that day.
A WWII American and German ground battle.
But first, let's look at the camps how and where the American troops lived. |

The
German
Waffen-SS were well
trained and well equipped. They were very sure of themselves and
their ability to dominate the world. Good leadership too, except for Adolph Hitler, that is. |

There were German soldiers on reconnaissance, then a battle started. | |

The Americans brought in a Sherman tank to bolster their infantry. | |

A ferocious battle ensued. It looked like victory could go either way, especially after the Germans brought up a fighting vehicle. | |
