This is Pi Day. That's right, it it 3/14
or 3.14159265359.....
Wikipedia
tells us that
is a Greek letter representing the ratio
between the diameter and the circumference of a circle. Pi is an irrational number, which
means it cannot be expressed even with lots of numbers....it goes
on maybe forever! One-million digits and counting!
3/14 only comes around but once a year. This
year is special because at 9:26 AM, the date and time combine to
make the first eight+ digits of Pi. That won't happen for
another 100 years. Mark said he would wait around for it!
