Saturday,
January 17, 2015: Mark and Paula headed west
out of Key Largo. Stop, there is
Bob's Bunz! This is a famous bakery with breakfast and lunch. People are even wearing shirts that say so. |
One of the menu favorites is Bread Pudding French Toast. Who could say no? When in Islamorada, do as the Islamoradans do! |
Yes, they know how to
bake and are popular for it. The baker can hardly keep up with demand. Interestingly, the restrooms are labeled Boys Bunz and Girls Bunz. |
There are many bridges that link the Florida Keys. This is just
one. The longest is seven miles in length. One of the bumper stickers seen along the way said, "Goin' places with smilin' faces." |
Plenty of views along the way. |
The Dynamic Duo of Mark and
Paula soon wound up in Key West at the west end of the Florida
Keys. There was a food and craft festival going on. Good seafood and beer on a warm day. |
|
Plenty of colorful vendors and
good-looking shirts to study as well. |
|
Paula was on the lookout
for souvenirs. Watch it, Paula, there is a pirate about! |
Quote of the day: There is more to see in the Florida Keys. Mark | < Back to previous story | Ahead to next story > |
