Friday,
January 16, 2015:
The Mark and Paula headed out with at
least 50 other people on a boat. Soon they were miles from shore. |
Plenty of sunshine and picture taking. |
|
This is a glass-bottom boat. Everyone wanted to
see undersea life. |
|
Just sit at the edge and hang your
legs over. |
|
Lots of small fish, but
no large ones that day. The big ones must have gotten away! |
This was not the Minnow
on Gilligan's Island. The captain took everyone safely back to port after a great afternoon on the water. |
Then it was off to Ballybhoo's Restaurant in Key Largo. They are famous for crab. Mark agreed. After all, being out on the water will make anyone hungry. |
There it was again, Key Lime Pie.
Every restaurant has their take on it and all tasted good. This one claimed diners could help Manatee by buying their pie. |
The marina at the Key Largo Bay Beach Resort is
lit up at night. Great area for an evening stroll. |
Quote of the day: Warm tropical weather is great for cold Minnesotans. Mark | < Back to previous story | Ahead to next story > |
