         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Friday, January 16, 2015:  Breakfast that day was at the Conch House Restaurant.   For those who are not from the Caribbean, conch is pronounced "conk."
You have to look for this place to find it.  Locals know where it is at and like going there.
No mater where you come from, there is likely a sign indicating how far away from home you are.
 

The favorite of locals is Tropical Pancakes that come with bananas, coconut, and pineapple topped with Passion Fruit syrup.

Who could say no?
Then it was off to the Key Largo State Park where many were enjoying the view of the water.
 
Ships canons from almost 200 years ago were there along with birds that often stand on one leg just to confuse tourists.
 
Short sleeve weather.  Not bad for kayaking. 
 
The Florida Keys are a tropical paradise no mater where you look.
 
This Lionfish is extremely poisonous so it was seen in an aquarium at the park.  Glad it is not down by a beach.
