         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Thursday, January 15, 2015: 

The Dynamic Duo of Mark and Paula headed down to the Florida Keys.

The "Keys" are islands in a 127 mile chain going mostly east and west in the warm Atlantic Ocean.

They are connected by bridges to mainland Florida.

First stop was Key Largo where Mark ran into his long-time friend Humphrey Bogart.

He is famous for black and white movies from the 1930s including Casablanca, The Maltese Falcon, The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, African Queen, The Caine Mutiny, and Key Largo.

Mark calls him Bogey!
They stayed at the Key Largo Bay Beach Resort.  Sunset that night was just right.  A great way to relax after driving much of the day.
 
The Keys have a mild tropical climate that is very laid-back.  Nice views at night.
 
Who could pass up the Key Lime Pie?

Every restaurant in the Keys "claims" to have the best.
