Friday,
January 2, 2015:
Great fisherperson Paula went ice fishing with
her cousin, Tom Lingwall on Mille Lacs Lake at Garrison, Minnesota.

As you can see, the inside of a fish house is not
very big. Just large enough to do some fishing through a hole
in the floor.
The water is about 15 feet deep at this location and the ice is
about 12 inches thick.

What were they fishing for? Walleye,
Northern, or anything they would be lucky enough to catch.
The fish were the lucky ones that
day. There were several nibbles, but no fish were caught.

The sun went down about 5 PM and the lights of
Garrison came on, showing over the frozen expanse of lake.
Time to call it a day and make plans to return another day.
