         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Saturday, January 3, 2015: 
Brier Thiesen, son of neighbors Dale Ray and Shelly Thiesen, was home on break from college. 
He stays fit by walking so it was out on Gilbert Lake this day with younger brother Bridger and sister Oakley.
The temperature was a mild 20 degrees or so with almost no wind.  There was a little snow falling.  Good weather for walking.   
 
They stopped at a crack in the ice to look.  Yes, it was perfectly safe.
 
Bridger had fun spelling his name in the snow.

His sister needed help tying her cap.

Brier was very helpful...a wonderful older brother.
Oakley and Bridger tried to outdo each other making snow angles. 
They really enjoyed their time on the ice.
