Tuesday, November 4, 2014:
 
It was election day across the country.  The weather was good, but only 44% of eligible voters turned out to cast a ballot.

If 10% more had voted, the results in almost every political race could have been reversed.  So, don't complain if you didn't vote. 

For those who don't know, voting is a civic responsibility.  Not voting is a way for others to determine your fate in coming years.
Wednesday, November 5, 2014:

Then the snow came.  Just 0.35 inches of moisture content, but the snow stayed around.

It's beginning to look a lot like winter!
Thursday, November 6, 2014:

The snow refused to leave.  It may be here for the duration.

To warm spirits at Gilbert Lodge, Chef Paula baked a deluxe version of Macaroni & Cheese.
She incorporated smoked cheese and put on a Panko topping.  Just right on a winter day.
