Saturday, October 18, 2014: 
It was the annual Oktoberfest celebration at Ruttger's Lodge on Bay Lake.
Thousands turned out for the event.  Plenty to eat and drink.
 
Narren from New Ulm, Minnesota, were there.  It's a German tradition.  Plenty of German heritage in that town.
 
The Concord singers were also there from New Ulm.  They sang German songs to the delight of the crowd.
 		  
Yes, there were plenty of people celebrating that day including Jean Schaeffer from Brainerd.
