Thursday, March 21, 2013: 

Jane Ackerman visited at Gilbert Lodge.

She is seen here holding the "His Master's Voice" dog. 

 
Jane is an Assistant Front End Manager at the local Costco store. 

She brought some excellent wine from the store. 


     Chef Paula
Chef Paula prepared pork chops with Minnesota wild rice. 

Green beans and home-made cranberry sauce completed the entre. 

 
Then the piece de resistance. 

It was home made pie with apples from the Gilbert Lodge grounds. 

Topped with ice cream, it could not be beat.

Even Josie the cat came out to be petted while everyone was in front of the Grand Fireplace.

Jane was full of stories about her life and places she has been. 

Most informative.
