         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
 
Thursday, January 3, 2013: 

Mark and Paula were out walking on Gilbert Lake near sunset.

They were pleased to see that Dave Schaeffer had plowed a road on the ice to make walking easier.

 

Then they came across Brynn and Bren who had just caught a whopper of a Northern.  About 30 inches and 10 pounds, it was a happy scene. 


Chef Paula

 Oh, what Chef Paula could do with a fish like that. 
Mark and Paula continued their 55 minute walk as the sun dipped below the horizon in the southwestern sky.
 
The star at Gilbert Lodge was shining bright at 65 feet above the ground when they returned.

Nice to be home.
