         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Saturday, September 29, 2012:  Dave and Jean Schaefer stopped over to visit. 

They couldn't resist the temptation to act like they were on the radio.

Funny how people are hams at heart.
It was out on Gilbert Lake for the Schaefers with Mark "the skipper" and Paula "Gilligan" Persons in the Minnow.

Fall colors were really out on that 70 degree day.
To make things even better, the Schaefers brought some wonderful wine for the cruise.
Mark and Dave sat at the stern of the craft admiring fall colors and talking about flying.....the usual conversation between those two.
Finally it was back to port.
Then it was off to the Arrowwood Lodge At Brainerd Lakes.

The foursome was greeted by a friendly bear in the lobby.  
Dinner was excellent. 

The conversation was equally good.
