Friday,
August 10, 2012: Mark and Paula were off to Pipestone, Minnesota. The Pipestone National Monument is located there. It is where peace pipes have been made for hundreds of years. |
While navigating through downtown Pipestone, they came across these
statues in front of the American Legion Post 6.
Very creative and interesting. We thank them for their service to our country. |

Then it was dinner for (l-r) Wally and Diane Christensen from KLOH Radio in Pipestone, Paula, and Mark. Great food and conversation at the Calumet Inn. |

Just a short walk down the street and the 97th
Regimental String Band was playing at the
Pipestone
Performing Arts Center. These guys look like they are from the American Civil War. Their music was from that era as well. Pipestone was settled by Civil War veterans. |
Hmmm...Who is this man? He does look farmiliar! Is he going to play a part in Mark and Paula's lives in the upcoming day? Time will tell! |

Quote of the day: Interesting times to come. Mark | < Back to previous story | Ahead to next story > |
