Saturday, July 14, 2012:  Look....There's the signpost up ahead! 

It is Sherwood Forest, just west of Gull Lake.

Let's swing in for dinner.
 

This place dates back to 1920.

Inside there is a mammoth fireplace with massive logs holding the roof. 

They just don't make them like this anymore.
 

The crew decided to sit outside because the 82 degree weather was "perfect."

(l-r) Paula, friend Jim Barry, restaurant owner Mike Mulrooney, and Mark.

The food was excellent too.
Then it was off to Nisswa, Minnesota, were Paula couldn't pass up an ice cream cone at the Chocolate Ox.

Paula, do you share?  

Mark decided to visit his long-time friend Paul Bunyan at Meg's Cabin in downtown Nisswa.

They discussed logging trees.

Hmmm...does that mean that Mark will soon be putting wood up for the winter at Gilbert Lodge?
