         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Saturday, June 23, 2012: Paula "Gilligan" Persons was sunning her freckles while Mark "The Skipper" was piloting the Minnow on Gilbert Lake. 

Along the way, they came across happy fishermen trying their luck.
Water skiing is a popular sport on this lake. 

On coastal waters, it is sometimes referred to as "trolling for sharks!"

Not on this lake.
A Minnesota Loon. 

Seen often here. 

Well, what is this?  Plenty of weeds on the Minnow's engine after going through somewhat shallow water.

Mark, do you have a permit to harvest lake plants?
