         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Friday, May 4, 2012:  Mark and Paula headed to Duluth, Minnesota.  Along the way, they stopped in McGregor, Minnesota, to check out the bakery. 

Paula marveled at the bread and the many pastries.   
She chose a chocolate muffin with chocolate chips.

Paula has liked chocolate since she was born.
Then it was off to Cloquet, Minnesota, where they visited Gordy's High Hat Restaurant.  It is billed as the "home of the north country's very best burger."  Gordy's is a classic hamburger shop from 1960.  It is only open during the summer months and is a real favorite. 

Gordy's is a place you tell your friends about.
The place became even more famous by being featured on the Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives television program on the Food Network with Guy Fieri.

Mark chose the California burger while ordered the classic American hamburger. 
Not your average burgers, these were the best.
