         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Saturday, April 7, 2012:  It was the annual Easter egg Hunt was put on by Brainerd Parks and Recreation.  Hundreds showed for this free event.
The Easter Bunny was there to greet visitors and hug children.  Everyone wanted their picture with the bunny.

Our investigative reporter discovered that Paula Persons and the Easter Bunny are the same height and weight.  Hmmm.....I wonder if that means anything.  Mark once said that Paula in a bunny costume would either be your greatest fantasy or worst nightmare. 


The event was aided by money and manpower from the Brainerd Rotary Club and associated youth groups. 

 

It all started early in the morning when Rotarians filled 525 bags with candy.


 

Plastic eggs were scattered throughout the park for children to pickup later.

Speaking of children, some came in costume.

At 10 AM they went out looking for eggs. 

Many happy kids did their best to collect the eggs.
Then they were returned to the starting point.     
The reward was a bag of candy.  Not bad for a morning of fun.

Is that a bunny tail in the background?
