         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Tuesday, February 14, 2012:  It was Saint Valentine's Day.  Mark and Paula exchanged cards in the morning.  The one on the left, from Paula, says "pick me."
Then it was off to visit Mark's mother June.  She is 95 and loved the flower from Hallmark.  The arrangement is motorized.  It opens and closes when a button is pushed.  A real treat.  She also got a heart shaped cookie.


Chef Paula
Later that afternoon, Chef Paula prepared an Amish raised chicken for dinner.  She basted it with olive oil and other ingredients.
The salad with plenty of red was just right for St. Valentines Day.
On the table with mashed potatoes, green peas and gravy, the chicken was superb.

Dinner was served while there was a roaring fire in the Grand Fireplace.
