Monday, January 16, 2012:  On this short winter day, Josie was getting her beauty sleep in the little sunshine that she could find. 
The sun shown through a window onto one of many inscriptions on the Grand Fireplace at Gilbert Lodge.  This one says, "There is nothing more powerful than an idea whose time has come."   Victor Hugo 1802 - 1885.
The sunset with beautiful colors over Gilbert Lake where there was a figure eight skating path, which was created by the neighbors.
The moon came up and shown brightly over the lodge.
