Thursday, October 20, 2011:  The Northland Arboretum held its 8th annual Haunted Trail on Thursday and Friday evenings the 20th and 21st.  It was a fund raiser for the arb and a fun activity for everyone.  Visitors walked a trail which was booby trapped by creatures of the dark.   October 20, 2011:  There was a public tour of the new 30 Million Dollar waste treatment plant which serves Brainerd and
It all started with actors dressing up (getting scary) for the event.
Some weren't terribly scary, but that was OK.  At least they were having a good time.
Then on the trail in the dark where things got plenty interesting.  
There was no end to the terrible creatures to be seen that night.
Imagine that, a bride and groom on that haunted evening.
As if that wasn't enough, aliens showed up.
Creatures would pop out of the dark to be seen by a light.
A scary time was had by all.
