Friday, July 1, 2011:  The annual Celebrate Freedom event was held at WWWI Radio in Baxter, Minnesota.  It was a fund raiser for the Central Lakes College Veterans Resource Center to help support the troops and families of military personnel stationed around the world.
Who could resist pulling of the road with an offer of free food?
There was a free-will donation involved, but the food was worth it.  This was a chance to try the famous Von Hanson's hot dogs.
Corey Zeien is a fire equipment engineer at the Brainerd Fire Department.  He brought a ladder truck to show to visitors.
The lovely and gracious Kadee O'Day was there in the WWWI main studio in her stars and stripes clothes to greet visitors.
