         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Thursday, June 30, 2011:  Mark's mother June Persons turned 95.  That's right, she was born in 1916 during World War I and was named June because she was delivered on the last day of the month of June.  June is best known for the Frills and Fancies radio program that she hosted on KVBR Radio in Brainerd, Minnesota, from the late 1960's to the early 1990's.  She was inducted in the Broadcasting Hall of Fame in 2001.  With plenty of wit, June is a young 95.
