Saturday, June 25, 2011: The third annual Celtic Festival was held
at The Farm on St.
Mathias, about five miles south of Brainerd.
There was Irish and other music worth dancing to and plenty of other things to see on that 75 degree day. |
This puppeteer and puppet were there to entertain as well. |
Two people, dressed in Scottish costume, were a part of a film crew from public television, which was there to record the event. |
|
|
The blacksmith shop was a big hit...pun intended. |
Face painting was one of the offerings. |
There was a rock splitter on site showing the crowd how to divide
a rock in two. He made it look so easy. Prisoners used to make little ones out of big ones back in the old days. |
After two hits, the rock came out looking like this. Not bad! |
This handsome couple is Mark and Paula. They may look like
farmers, but they are really your wandering sight-seers.
